Advise that you dont go for the Schuberh coms

Hi, My Riding buddy has the Schuberth Comms, I have the Scala G4, mine is far superior, although no problems with compatibility as they are both made by Scala, the schuberth is a fiddle and faff with the controls and impossible to adjust whilst riding, plus less effective range.
Suggest the Scala.

Had problems fitting Scala to my C2 (couldn't get between outer & inner of shell to clamp). Don't know if it'll be the same problem with a C3 ? Anyway, I emailed Scala (in USA) and they sent new base plates (adhesive) and longer boom mikes (better for flip fronts) F.O.C. Excellent service.

I have a G4 on my C3. All I had to do was make sure I had the base with the longer boom mic, which I got direct from Cardo. I made a small hole in the neck collar to allow the mic to go from outside the lid to the inside.

This works perfectly and I've had no issues in over 12 months. The short boom mic that came with the G4 wasn't long enough as you can't mount the base plate far enough forwards due to the lever for the internal sun visor.

Many Thank's

Thank's to the responder's,will go to show room soon and get the g4 fitted when we get wifee's helmet, boy did say he could do a deal, must see how much i can nail him down for.

Depends on how quick you need them.

I found that the cheapest place was a motorcycle shop in Italy that sells through eBay (borrozzinomoto). I paid £269 for a pair of G4s last year, although it seems he's currently doing a single for £170 and a pair for £300.

At least you have a figure to compare with any deal he offers you.
