Schuberth C2 to C3.

I did the change and can't recall it being any quieter at all but don't find it unbearably noisy as it is and I don't wear ear plugs.

I went from the C2 to the C3 and I think that it is rubbish. I'm now committed to the Schuberth system having also bought their bluetooth collar (over £700 worth in total).

I don't like the pinlock visor which in my opinion is not as good as the original Schuberth anti fog visors. The other problem is that water runs down the inside of the visor as soon as it is cracked open when it is raining.

I much prefer my old C2 to the C3.

I on the other hand prefer the pinlock and find the visor water tight if you click it closed in its final position.

I bought the Sena SMH10R Bluetooth headset and it fits very well and the sound inside the helmet is great and not effected by the noise outside.

Bear in mind that the c3 is now a model being discounted quite heavily in Germany since the c3pro came out ,it will probably be getting discontinued in the next 12 months or so and be cheaper .
Probably worth hanging on or buying abroad , a very good lid once you have done my visor mod and my wife rates hers as a better than her old c2

Thanks for the input. At £500+ for the new Pro, I think I may hang on until a bike show comes up and see if I can get a bit discount. Didnt think they would be anywhere near that price. Looking like my C2 is going to have to last a tad longer.

www.louis.de plain coloured c3 £318 , c3pro £474
www.fc-mote.de plain c3 £315, c3pro £470
www.bikerland.de plain c3 £357, c3pro £474

c3 pro is better than a c3 but if you can get a c3 either from Germany for £315 or a uk price match they are still worth buying

I have the C3 and I've been a bit disappointed to be honest. Visor slams shut over 55mph and it fogs a fair bit, even with pinlock, compared to my old Shoei. I used my old shoei a few weeks ago again, and the C3 is definitely quieter, but then I'd normally have earplugs anyway.

But I think my biggest issue is that it's incredibly uncomfortable when wearing glasses after a couple of hours.

Do a search on (c3 visor fix) , it works 100% and the visor will stay open to 120mph if you really want a bee through your face at that kind of speed

C3 pros were £399 at the excel show just tell em someone else is doing for that price

Just posting this to thank you! I've lived with this helmet being dissapoiinting for 2 years, but carried out that fix and it's transformed! It's also made the visor a lot more stable when slightly open. It used to wobble when slightly open before slamming g shut, making it very hard to see through. I also found the glasses problem - I didn't realise that the helmet had cutouts for the speakers - reinstalled my Sena and it's perfectly comfy now :)

Posting this from Staufen near Freiburg on a trip, and it's made it a whole lot better!
