Can anyone tell me what the ventilation on this is like. I need a new lid but with the temp in Madrid in the 40´s want to make sure it will be as cool as possible Nothing is really cool in these temps. Looking at the C2 due to visor think it would be fantastic here for all the tunnels

Hope someone can help on this

In the 40's!!!!. I assume low 40's for europe. Anyway I use the C2 while riding in Saudi and Kuwait were it has hit 50. Air through the head vent is good and can be felt. The chin vent is fair. The only problem I find is that the visor is not fully sealed against the helmet rubber seal or it will not stay partially open (half inch), it just slams shut.

Overall, it is a good helmet and when you want to suck on that ice lolly, phew... just flip it up.

Rugged Path Thanks for that exactly what was looking for someone in a HOT place. We don't quite get to your dizzy hieghts but can give you a run for your money had 44 the other day.

What jacket do you use by the way in that kinda heat?

It's ok. When the visor is down, you can pull it forward leaving a small gap at the top and bottom. that works very well.

The vent on the top of the lid is ok. The one on the chin guard is not all that.

I tend to ride most of the time with the visor up, unfortunately, unlike my old Arai, the visor tends to drop down after about 60 mph. Could be a one off?

I find it a comfortable lid, but I'm sure you can get better ventilation from other makes....

First off it was the Rallye2 jacket with all the zipped vents but, on a trip at the height of summer, I nearly got heat stroke (and not a pub in sight).

Now I wear the BMW Air-Flow jacket. This lets the very hot air through, and I still sweat (and not a pub in sight). :coold
