I've been looking around the usual places for the best deal price wise on a Schuberth C3 in gloss black and the best offer so far is from Hein-Gericke at £405

Does anyone know of a better current offer? :augie

Even better, dont buy one. I had a C2 and took it back after several repairs in less than 6 mths. it was very quiet and appalling build quality.

Try Helmet city in West Bay Dorset.I was in there today also looking at C3.
He is keen to do deals. £390 for a plain white.
Anyone know of better price?

Got a L one in grey, bought 2008. Worn for a year. Un-dropped/dinged etc. In the end I changed it because I was on sports bikes and it was too heavy.

If you're after a new one, I'll check locals shops for you, but you're very welcome to mine if you want it (is amongst the kit which I plan to whack up on the for sale board next week anyway).

I didn't even realise they had a shop other than the Kent one

£390 is cheaper than the £427.49 with free delivery on their web-site

Did they just offer you the £390 price or did you have to stick his nads in a vice?

So are you saying that I shouldn't by a C3 on the basis that you didn't like the C2 then? :nenau

No, its not a case of me not liking it cos i did. Its more a case of poor quality construction. do you want to spend about £400 on a bad helmet ?.

Yes when they first came out. tried one on but the sun visor mechanism wasnt working properly. so i walked away.

Price/condition/colour/pics/size (cm) please......:augie

Triumph World, Chesterfield have some. Large sizes very good prices, cheaper than mentioned here. Only had large sizes. Worth a call.

I've got a schuberth C3 and am not a fan at all. Even with the "anti fog" pinlock insert it steams up in all weathers (in the rain you'll see nothing!), you will still have to wear earplugs (worlds quietest etc my arse!), the arm that holds the sun visor broke so I now have no sun visor, the top vent leaks (so when it's cold your head will freeze and the vent whistles), the radio on the src is crap and above 50mph you will not understand a single word your caller is saying. If you picked it up in Aldi for £50 the feel of the build quality would be about right. I've sent it back to helmet city twice as I'm not happy with it but nothing can be done. I've just got to lump it until I buy a new one.

I had an Arai RX7 before which was in a different league of quality and no problems whatsoever.

I called them and told them what I was after. They took my name and number then never bothered to call me back :blast

Hein-Gericke Farnborough however have stock. All sizes but only in silver or black. They could do me a black one ex stock for £390 :D

Presumably all H-G shops will do the same deal if you walk in and ask?

Cheers for that but I think I'll be going back to H-G ..... you can't beat buying from a big shop and I know their returns/warranty policy is good in case I have any issues :thumb2
