Schuberth C3 Pro chin strap

I have been out on the GS again today and this is my second days riding enjoying my new C3 Pro, the helmet is great, a great flip and a great sun-visor, also very quiet and comfortable apart from the chin strap with it's plastic ratchet clip which was trying to rip out my Adam's apple.

Has anyone else suffered with discomfort from the chin strap and if so how did you fix this otherwise brilliant helmet.

Surgery is not a considered option!

It's been an issue that this affects some riders necks and chins.... The C3 was worse and then the new c3 pro was modified and the strap moved forward to give more room for your Adam's apple.... I've found that wearing a full head balaclava or a neck scalf stopped the strap from rubbing on my neck....

Thanks guys, I'll try it, my brother bought his Schuberth last year and flogged it cheap to a mate as he couldn't put up with it, we must have big Adam's apples in our family, I intend to persevere as the rest of the helmet is excellent.

Any more tips?
