Anybody seen the new heated visor for the Schuberth Concept? Anybody got one? I just noticed this picture on SPC's website this evening....

Great!!
Never seen. But I know some of the Primustreff-guys have visor with heat.
I don't know where they got it from...
:) Liv.

Saw one at the Bike Show in Brum. Looked impressive but £70+ overpriced.

I spoke to one of the Parts guys at SPC today. Apparently it comes with a BMW plug attached. It's plastic, with very fine wires embedded in it (you can just make these out in the pic).

Not convinced (especially as the Concept has the best anti-fog properties of any helmet I've used). Maybe if I was doing some crazy Zwerver-esque snow rallies.......:D

Doesn't a "fog city" do the job for a tenner?
And you can get tinted ones for the summer for another tenner.

And how many accessory sockets are we going to need?
1/ Heated jacket.
2/ GPS.
3/ Heated visor.
4/ ?????

Any more?

The '04 GS's are believed to have an accessory outlet strip under the RID... :jester

Why?

Why would you need one? Has anybody ever had a problem with their visor icing up on a ride? Seems like a lot of money to pay for an eventuallity that is as rare as rocking horse sh*t, well in the UK anyway....Liv does this happen in Norway?

I'm guessing that it'd keep the outside of your visor clear when riding in fog, which would be useful. But at that price - don't think so.....

Slightly more usefull?

Does anyone make a tinted visor for the Scheuberth? The flip down one is great for most of the year in the UK, but as I'll be off to Spain at the end of May I think something extra will be needed.

If no one does then it'll have to be a tinted fog city, or is the photo-chromic ones worth the £30?
