I recently bought a concept and found it, together with tobinators, to be an excellent lid for the GS on anything from Autobahn to town riding. One thing I think could be improved is the sun visor.
Does anyone know of an aftermarket jet pilot type sun visor to fit this lid as the original seems to be just a tad too short.

I think you'll find that the housing is the problem - any 'deeper' and it would either not retract fully or would foul the top vent...

Mike:)

Not aware of any but if you find someone who does them in colours other than black let me know.
Personally I find that with the darkened visor only dropping about 1/2 way down that this means I can read my clocks clearly when the sun is out.

I find that this also means that I can read the screen of my GPS easily.

I find that I'm tipping my head a bit more forward to look through the upper portion of the sun visor and keep that lower edge as low in my horizon as possible. I would not want to give up the lower, non-sun-visored portion as it allows me to see my map, GPS, gauges etc. much more clearly.

Thanks for your responses and advice I think I will have to keep tipping my head

I noted from the Shuberth blurb that this is the intention in the design of the sun visor i.e. to allow a clear view of the instruments

Strange statement for Schuberth to make as I got the idea of a pilot type visor after trying on their S1 full face when I was buying the Concept. How do S1 wearers see their instruments?
