Yes it will. My xxl E1 fit inside with F5MC attached as well with no problems and space to spare.

I really fancy one of those actually. I have a Shoei shape and Sxhuberths historically don't fit me, but this is different having tried one in the shop. Feels and smells AAA quality.

I've got one that I hardly ever wear .... I seem to be constantly picking up my Tour-X over the E1

I went into Webbs P/boro t the weekend to try on the C3 Pro (same shell) and it was a revelation... soooo comfy and yeah AAA quality.
If it's a matt black XL and you want to part with it I'm interested... not pulled the trigger on a new one yet.

Hi, can I ask why you lean more towards the Tour-X each time?
I think I'm probably not a flip front kind of guy and the flexible peak on the E1 bloody annoys me. I just can't seem to get it in a position where it doesn't annoyingly vibrate whereas with the Tour-X it doesn't. No matter what position you have the screen or seat in or even if I ride a naked bike (as I did with NOG's Scrambler Demo Yesterday) the visor is never an issue compared to the E1

Tour X is Arai?
Not my cup of tea... I find them flimsy and badly made from the visor mech to the stick on air ducts (supposedly designed such so to break easily without torque inducing in a fall) that after a year or two get unstuck anyway.

Mate of mine caught his helmet while boarding the autorail train at Dusseldorf, its a head on tank job to get the bikes into the tight space, and his clipped the metal girder and his air vent popped off without snapping his head back.......once bike was loaded, picked up air vent and re-fitted......so guess there are some plus points.

Interesting feedback, have been considering getting one, but my Tour-X4 is in decent shape so is more of a 'interest' purchase rather than a necessity. I use my bike every day in the early morning and evening and the sun at this time of year really does warrant the peak and was also interested in the sun visor drop down in the E1, as would save the on-off-on-off sunglasses routine. WIll have to think some more given this latest feedback on the flexible peak.
Agree, even though I'm on my first Arai.
The flip down sun visor is great but I already wear Davida D4Vi9A 74 WRS glasses with reactolite prescription lenses and have never yet had an issue with the sun whilst wearing my Tour-X

The Arai TourX is also high quality. Not had any problem with the peak. It's just a PITA to change the visor, only 4 screws (bmw fits it perfectly BTW) but should be easier with a quick release. Not a fan of the double-D ring fastener, much prefer a ratchet. Internal visor is nice but I tend to rock a tinted visor hence the need to change. But internal visor is good to use if can't be arsed to swap back to tinted visor. My Arai is slightly too big when not wearing a balaclava. But the main thing is I love flip ups, being able to open proper is great, especially when touring and filling up at petrol stations. The only thing I'm not a fan of on the Schuberth is the humungous top air vent, not going to be able to fit my razor saw Mohawk.

I have a lot of Arai helmets and love them but I could not wear my Tour X due to the distortion in the visor. It was bad enough to give me headaches and I'm amazed Arai released a helmet like that.
I'm really liking my Shoei Hornet ADV though
How's the Schuberth different? I have a C3 Pro which would be my perfect helmet were it not for the discomfort I get around my ears after a few hours riding.
I like the flip front style but having tried a Shoei Neotec I found it too heavy leaving me with only the C3 as a viable option which feels much lighter.

I have one and think it's great. Wore it continuously for several hours a day over a 10 day blast around Europe in July in very hot conditions.
Found it to be comfortable, not too heavy, visor works well and the peak was great.
Previously had the C3 and the addition of the peak was a real boon in hot sunny conditions.
I removed the peak for a couple of long motorway stints - it only takes a few seconds to do.
It did flex and vibrate (the peak) in some cross winds - speed didn't seem to be the issue here, rather just the way the wind was blowing.
Overall I had the peak on for 95% of the journey and thought that the the helmet features works brilliantly.
As such I would highly recommend.
I've never had the Tour X so can't comment about that - or your ears....

I get the same sometimes although I have Autocom speakers fitted. I find that once the helmet is on I need to pull out the side of the helmet at the bottom, slide my fingers in and straighten everything out around the ear area.
