I bought my first Schuberth lid in November at the NEC. Helmet City told me to register it on the Schuberth website for free accident insurance.
I registered it - and thought nothing more of it. About 3 weeks ago I was involved in a classic SMIDSY and scratched the C3 on the road. The car drivers insurance company gave me the money I paid for the kid and I started looking for a new one forgetting the Schuberth insurance.
Whilst on a visit to helmet city in Cheltenham last week they reminded me of the insurance and today I picked up my new Schuberth lid and only paid 1/3 of the cost.
