Anyone got a pair of SRCpro comms installed in C3 Pro helmets ? I have paired them and intercom seems fine, then paired one helmet to BMW Nav5, also fine for instructions and music from the built in MP3 player. Now what the Music sharing function to relay music to the second helmet for the pillion, can't get it to work, anyone been successful with this?

Can't even get the music to work on the first one, never mind a second.

If it's not too much of a pain please explain how you got music to work ?

srcpro

I paired the srcpro to the bmw nav5 by putting the srcpro in discoverable mode searching for it on nav5 and connecting. Then into the media player on nav5 and play the music!!

I am still having trouble sending the music, had the old version of this a few years ago, I should have known better to buy again:blast

How schuberth get away with it  looks like its back to autocom for me:clap

Hi Guys, Any update on this. I am experiencing exactly the same issue as described in the original post.

I've almost given up trying to get my Schuberth SRCs to mate. You'd need a Constant supply of thunderbird to give them the confidence to try mating and then following the last time one has an STD because now neither is interested in mating.

I did notice that schuberth have published a firmware update though so that might be worth a try.

Thanks for the response Joe. As for 'mating' I have no problem establishing rider to pillion comms its just that there's no music sharing from my Nav5. If I'm on my jack there's no problem but with a pillion in comms mode (channel A) you can't even get the media play button on the Nav 5 to stay on; no music for either rider or pillion (in fact, on occasions, the Nav has locked up whilst trying). The SRC instructions clearly say that music sharing is possible and provides no exception to exclude the Nav 5. Having just spent a small fortune on two Schuberth helmets with two SRC Pro's I'm feeling more than a little robbed right now.

Mine wouldn't mate with a Barry White box set, mouthwash and vodka freshener and Rohipnol. Music - I wish, nothing too sexual as I use a tank bag and it can get uncomfortable.

OK, grasping at straws but can anyone with a SRC Pro please tell me what software level it's at and have you managed to update it through that cardo community thingy?

Ridden in the rain yet ? Wait till you get a waterfall inside your visor....
I'm more disappointed with the C3 Pro / SRC combo than any other product I've ever purchased.

My wife and I have C3 Pro's with SRC's fitted. At times when either of us tries to talk to each other and speak loudly in to the mics the SRC's try connecting to the radio. Schuberth say you can't disable the radio, so there must be another way of stopping them trying to connect to the radio?

It's probably very simple and I'm a numpty but any advice great fully recieved!

I'm told if you download software and connect the helmet you can configure it much easier and Eliminate a lot of the issues. ( as a Mac user this isn't helpful)!

Thanks. The computer isn't seeing the helmets at the moment - it keeps telling me the helmet is not connected, even though it is and switched on.

Exit the software. Reload the PC. Plug in the helmet, switch on and see if it recognises it as s device and therefore configured the port. You may need an admin right to do this. Then load th software and try again.

If you haven't already done so, disable the VOX and use the buttons to open the comms. Re sharing music from a Nav 5, the SRC will probably see it as a GPS rather than a media player. Try using music from another source (phone) and see if that can be shared. I think you will also get better music quality from a phone.

thanks both.

Will try again later.

Now off to Seville.

Now sorted.

Re-loaded the software and was able to amend the settings and now all is good.

Would someone tell me how they ended the session when they connected to the cardo site to update the software? I tried it but it just said "do not remove". tried everything and could not get controlled removal so just unplugged. Guess what, it killed my new SRC. Had to send it back to shop I bought it in Italy, Schuberth and Cardo did not want to know. Now have a new one but worried about reconnecting for updates and set up. Any clues how to finish the session??
