SCOTTOILERS

My mechanic friend in Penge, London SE20 can supply & fit a full Touring Kit for £105 & it takes about 45 minutes.

Twin Spark model no problem. I've had one on mine for 22k miles & still on original chain & sprockets.

The Touring Kit fits a reservoir behind the number plate for a range of 2k+ miles & is rather neat.

Ive done a few this way

Drill a small hole in the rubber manifold use a drill bit (approx 2mm) slightly smaller than the adapter ( you dont need a actual clean round hole) then lube the adapter with supper glue and with pliers push the mushroomed end through the rubber and then nip up the washer and locking nut before the glue dries

the tiny flakes or rubber dust that might drop in the inlet manifold will cause er nothing

bikes have done over 35,000 miles since I did them no problems

time to fit to gs under 45 minutes.

I have to agree with Mr Poo, did mine the same way, works perfectly and all finished in less than an hour :thumb2
