Scratched cloudy screen

What's the best thing to do with one?

1. Bin it?
2. Buff it using a cloth?
3. Buy some wonder liquid and rub hard?
4. Power tool it with a 'buffer'?
5. Some other solution?

In the past I've disregarded cleaning the screen with something that wont scratch - now I'm paying for it. Ideas??

Xeropol plastic polish, available from HG or elsewhere. Not recommended for polycarbonate, but I've used it successfully on PC with some patience.

Then maintain with Plexus (Nippys) or similar.
