Two subjects, same area.
Just fitted the NN high wide screen. Very pleased. I'd first added a 50mm stick-on extension to the standard one as a test to see what was required for a 5'10" 31.5 leg. I was not surprised to see the NN then filled the bill.

Now the pins:
Having read the recent posts about lost pins I decided to replace mine with bolts. Those who have done that will have found out that it is not easy to find bolts with exactly the correct length of plain shank to match the original pin length.
I was lucky, but perhaps only members with knowledge GT mountain bikes with "I Drive" will recognise it. I used the two bolts that are at either end of the "dog bolt" in the "I Drive" system. Just a thin shim or two ( MTB caliper spacing shims) under the head with a little cut off the threaded end and the nut sits nicely against the shoulder of the plain shank.

Haven't got a clue what you mean , but thanks for the heads up , always useful to have folks posting help links:thumb2:thumb2

I have lost two E-clips from the right hand bolt thing that holds the screen. (On one occasion the whole bolt fell out and had to be replaced). So worth keeping an eye on .... :thumb2
