Hi I have a new HP Pavillion DM3-1060 Laptop which i bought recently from John Lewis which has a very annoying flickering on the screen when used on battery power (like brightness being adjusted up and down continuously). Perfect on mains and also an attached monitor is fine. I can't seem to stop this and have tried different power settings and screen resolutions. This is actually a replacement as I had the same problem on the first one I bought and JL just replaced it. I have tried HP helpline but they were about as much use as a chocolate teapot. Is it likely to be a pc problem and needs replacing again? I don't really want to replace unless necessary as I have loaded all my software. Help much appreciated folks.
