so which make of screen for an lc is the tallest and broadest?

The standard screen on the non-Adv GS is the best of any bike I've had. Why not see how it pans out before farkling. Or maybe that's not the point. ...

ive road tested several charlie boy adv and vanilla and i would like improve if i can,i will never get to the nirvarna of my hexhead set up but hey ho

Why change bike then? After all, as Sir Andrew of Craster points out, it's not what you ride but how! ;-)

Wunderlich Marathon Ergo screen was the tallest that I found when researching (as in confirmed height and width in product description). I fitted mine last weekend and it is decent improvement over the stock screen. Did over 300 miles on Monday so it was a proper test run. Mainly boring motorway and duel carriageway. When raised all the way up I could still comfortable see over the top but much reduced turbulence and wind noise. Decent price too.

For reference: I'm 6ft 5in
