If all go's to plan I will be taking the SE to Morocco next year
Two main concerns are fuel and luggage...As some SE's have had the subframe snap ...I thought it might be a good idea to beef mine up ...So I took it over to Verns workshop to see if he could help and the anwser was yes ,just remove the subframe and drop it off next time your passing...
So back home into the garage to strip the bike down...
Subframe removed...
If you look you can see the bolt hole just as the single tubing starts thats the weak spot...

Now Vern has come up with a really clever way of beefing it all up when I get it back i'll post some more photos when he's finished working his magic ...
As for the fuel issue there are quite a few options out there eg; Large tanks, side mounted aux tanks,but I have something else that I'm going to try will post more details when I have finished the Subframe work...
