Sealed battery for a Sertao

Just acquired a Sertao at a good price and had a quick fiddle to see what's what ! I was surprised to see a standard, non sealed battery in what is supposed to be off road capable bike

Not wishing to spill the contents of the battery, I'd be interested to hear if anyone has replaced the standard with a sealed one

I did just that and fitted an Odyssey dry cell battery. I don't know the model number off hand, but if you need to know than I can find out for you easily enough.

My bikes been upside down plenty of times with a standard lead acid battery. No leaks so far. You've just got to practice standing the bike back up quickly.

I just put a Motobatt MB12U in today, perfect fit, quality battery mad4bikes.co.uk started the bike without charging.
