Had excellent service in the clothing department on Saturday from the lady (Julie?) that runs it.

I have a world of trouble with helmet fit and she was happy to spend an hour or so getting a Shoei XR1100 to fit perfectly. Tried the new AGV T2 but no chance.

In addition, everyone we passed or made eye contact with in the store said hi and smiled. Not in the market for either a Ducati or Kawasaki but if I was I would enjoy buying one there.

Oh, and the Multinumpty looks really nice but quite small...

Julie is lovely, but I cant agree about the rest I'm afraid. I don't bother going there any more....

wheres seastar :nenau

I quite like lings lowestoft for a coffe/letch @ bikes type stop off.
That said the qty of bikes is slowly dropping and the cars seems to be taking over the showroom.

beside the A140 in Newton Flotman (which is between Swainsthorpe and Tasburgh)...that help any...??? :nenau

Probably because of the worst after sales service in the local area which is acknowledged by even some of the staff.

The bikes were scaled down supposedly in winter to give more room to the cars ("as no one rides bikes in winter" according to management there) and the space was never changed back.

As for Seastar i have never had a problem there over the last 6-7 years yet have never bought a bike from them but have had various bits off them for my last 2 kawasaki sports bikes. Julie is a top girl even if she does ride a Ducati and have an OCD other half :D

Yep. When I passed my test not too long ago and was looking for a helmet I ended up in Seastar. Julie let me try on various makes and sizes until I had a good fit. Realy top notch service I must say and friendly. Bought my helmet from her. My missus's helmet is only comfortable for her to wear for an hour or so. Wished we went to Julie before she bought one. Will defenately go there soon to get her fitted. Highly recomended as they say on fleabay feedback. BTW she had a real nasty accident last year. SMIDSY and some time in hospital. Bike was a write off.

She was bloody lucky to get away with it and the bike was a limited edition R6 that she was looking to sell at the time as she had that and a Ducati monster

bounces well does our julie :thumb

well i found myself there on saturday morning along with a mate who was going to look at a bike they had for sale.

a. had a good selection of bikes for sale both new and secondhand.
b. had a large range of bikes available for test rides.
c. had a decent range of clothing and accesories.
d. staff were top notch. had a chat with the lady in the clothing department who i will assume is julie. Both the sales guys we were talking to were top notch polite friendly and were up for a laugh and a pisstake. My mate bought the bike, i would happily shop there ( bit far though )

in fact the only gripe was the coffee machine was upstairs :loopy

oh and the sight of so many middle aged men in ill fitting leathers and shiney new untouched knee sliders and chrome reflective visors make me laugh :D:D:D

oh and the seat on the multiwotsit is in the wrong place !!

regards Tony :thumb
