Reliving bike trips whilst sat at my desk....
As you can guess from the title. I'm after a length of Seat belt as I want to make a harness thoing for slinging stuff over the tank.

Where can I get some, used, preferably without evidence of an RTA on it....?

Oh, yeah, and those sort of plastic clips that you get at the waist of big rucksacks...

Any decent camping shop will do webbing by the metre, and in various widths, as well as the plastic clips for the ends.......TBH though I haven't seen any as wide as seat belt webbing.

Use some anti slip rug underlay (like a soft rubber mesh) under the webbing as well.....webbing will wear paint surfaces on its own.

S'funny, I am after webbing and clips but for a different reason, I have found this:

fleaBay

It does not look to bad and is cheap as chips, I am still to find large quick release buckles I like though. :(

Edit - The good news is this seller does do a good range of widths of webbing and some clips

Most hardware stores sell those.

To be honest I prefer to shop on line these days, something like this I can fit in my pocket so I can take the bike, but then I have the hassle of trying to find secure parking then lug a jacket and helmet around. Taking the car is even worse - it is a fivers worth of fuel plus a couple of quid parking plus hassle finding a place that sells what I need plus Arrghhhh!

Is it me? I reckon it just not worth going shopping these days.

Iv'e got a long roll (50m ish) of green webing that has come from a parachute company. It is about 50mm wide, probably thicker than seat belt stuff.
Very strong.
You are welcome to a few metres FOC.

Try sailing shop / chandlers, webbing has a number of uses and adjustment methods for "toe straps" and guard rails
