G650GS & Sertao and the F650GS & Dakar seats are compatible; albeit there's a few G650GS/Sertao owning members on here and F650.co.uk who have plumped for a F650GS or Dakar seat to improve rider comfort.

thankyou for that. that is good news that itll fit. i'll go ahead then, its a tall seat so i'll hope for the best that it makes the bike more comfy and be a little more careful with the late night wine fueled ebaying in future
