I believe if you have an 1150 Adventure that you can change all the fittings and put a standard GS rider and pillion seat on.
If you went down this route and then fitted a Sargent riders seat, how much difference would there be in seat height to a standard 1150 GS.
Also if aftermarket shocks were fitted eg: Wilbers, do these have the same ride height as standard shocks, or can they be "tweaked" to alter the height a little ?

Many questions I know, but always thought an Adventure would be too tall for me, but just wondering on options ....
Thanks

Why not just an OEM low seat? They can be picked up on ebay and maybe an ad in the wanted section.

Or you could just buy my Adventure that's in the For Sale section, complete with OEM low seat

I have a Adv with the standard GS seat set up.
One of the benefits of the Adv seat is you have a high and low setting for the seat, which you don't have with the Adv seat.

Stu. I'm laughing over here. Do you want to re-jig that post or are deliberately speaking forked tongue to the op

Or have I lost it?
