Hi,
Anyone ever had any work done on their seat in Scotland?
Looking for the usual, more comfy (1150gs).
Before I look at the usual suspects, Corbin, Sergent, Tony Archer etc (all very expensive), thought I'd check in case there was someone in Scotland.
Any ideas?
Gav

ok , cant remember the name of it , but if you'r heading towards wishaw general hospital you pass the retail park and it sits on the right hand side just past it , the building is yellow or green from memory ,, see map .. drop in , tell them your requirements and see wot they can do :thumb the green "A" marker in the picture is the very place ..

Will they do your seat if you don't have learning difficulties? :D

I wish I'd known, I took my seat down to Tony Archer in Huddersfield last year, after trying a couple of places in Dundee and Cupar who either didn't have the time or didn't have much experience in bike seats.

Mine cost about £130, I think, which was a reupholster with a gel pad in it, and it made a big difference (bike's an F800GS).

I phoned Tony Archer. Replace using different density foams, re-cover with non-slip, plain sides, dark blue piping, return within a week........................
£80 plus £10 postage.:)
I'll post a photo when I get it back.
Thanks peeps for the info.

Seat back from Tony Archer.

My seat is back from Tony Archer.
Lovely job, comfy and better looking.
Very reasonable and prompt service.
