Hi Guys,
I've managed to get hold of a spare rider's seat for an 1150. I'm hoping to get it modified and re-covered.
Since I use the seat in the highest position - and since it's not the most comfortable seat over along day - I was hoping to get 20-25mm of extra foam added, just over the FLAT area of the seat, - the area all the pressure's on! I could then use the modified seat in the lower mountings - but the extra foam would maintain the original height! - It would also need to be re-covered to suit the exta seat thickness in the same material as original or one of the newer? non-slip type "soft" coverings - nothing heavy-grained, if you know what I mean?
Has anybody else tried this?, and more importantly, can anybody suggest a good seat re-coverer??

George, Pete Pragmatic has done a fine job altering his seats if I remember correctly. Have a word with him.
By the way. Hows yer hangover?

Hi Den, forgot about Pete, - maybe do that.
Hangover's well gone now - went out for a bit of arun on Sunday instead - bloody cold though!!
Hopefully make the next one.

Cheers..................Grizzly
