Seat rebuild for Gs1100

As I am very tall and cursed with back injury I am looking to have my seat rebuilt so that it has a flatter profile to the rear (a la Corbin and Sargent) and is built for comfort. I have the base units. If it could be raised too that would be helpful.

I have tried one or two around the country but they are not interested unless I can ride there in person (I'm limited to about 100 miles due to my crocked spine ). Can anyone recommend someone to rebuild seats within London or, at least, within 100 miles of Walthamstow?

Though on the face of it a bike seat specialist seems like the best solution.. car refinishers.. seat reupholsterers have the exact same skills... I wouldn't be afraid to use them. seen seats on this very site that have been remade by these kind of people... obviously for your problem its advisable to go and see them so they can see exactly what needs to be done. I would imagine that any with more than a few years experience will be up to the job.

don't be tempted to go for a sargent seat.. they're lower than the original.

If you have the money then the Touratech XXH sport seat might suit you.. not cheap though. (I was lucky to come across one cheap on ebay)
