hi all
in january last year i bought an atlantis 4 suit, nice bit of kit only one problem though, i think it may leak?coming back from the nw200 in may it rained and any body who caught the ferry back to stranraer will know how bad,and when i stopped for a waz i noticed that the trousers were leaking on the inseam of the leg,or so i thought.. any way went out again this weekend and it rained( no never) and they felt like they were leaking again,so today i had time to sit in the garden with the hose on the trousers around the area for 20 mins and they felt wet again but when i took them off me legs were dry, the reason for this post is any one else suffered this problem, is it intermittant or was it just a one off, btw bmw said they would replace them, but they would test em first. what would you do.

I have some older Altantis trousers, and from what I can recall, BMW claim that they are water resistant, but only fully waterproof with the goretex liner in. Yours might have the goretex built in though. Perhaps the water is soaking through the seam, and making the goretex liner feel damp when it is not?

Stick a bit of kitchen towel in the relevant area and try the hose again, or just go outside if you are having the same weather as we are!

cheers shugie i`ll try that , and yes the new ones have the seams goretex lined ,and regarding the weather ,eleven and a half months of winter here an all..... stainy
