Seeing as the rest of you lazy buggers aren't doing much

I sent pictures of the black bike and other pictures from the Corbin site. . .

so even a blind man could see what you got and what you wanted are miles apart.
aw thats f*cking woeful.
i'd be disheartened too - but you paid good money for that - and it's clearly NOT "the business".

Bollocks! Bollocks! Bollocks!!!

Best part of seven weeks waiting for Digger seats to do my seat and it's a pile of shite. Very disappointed. should have gone for the Corbin :tears

Looks like the kindergarden version of a Corbin :blast

Thats a £270 genuine seat down the pan, £160 to do the work and all that time waiting :(

/QUOTE]

I'd be asking for a refund, no quibbling- if you showed them pics of the B+W versions seat then it looks like someone in their side has got the job badly mixed up . Perhaps they lost the photo and copied something they saw in some other photo? Their mistake, their problem, surely??

I am sorry to bring this topic back from the dead and apologise for joining this forum just to vent.

I wish that I had read your posts and headed them.

5 years on and Digger Dave Harding is still up to the same sh*t.

Despite being told two weeks I was kept waiting for more than 8 weeks.

Like you, I sent *SPECIFIC* photographs with notes of Corbin seats and a seat base I had spent time strengthening and refurbishing (the guy advertises himself as a Corbin specialist).

He first attempt was *NOTHING* like what I ask. I pointed it out all perfectly politely and professional and waited ... and waited ... and waited ... nothing. After many emails and a couple of call he finally sent me photos of a complete hatchet job of his first effort. It's looked like it had been attacked by a kitchen knife.

Like you write, it was a bad cartoon version of a Corbin seat ... and all I was asking for was on one of the simple, minimalist seats they do.

When I finally decided to pull the plug on it, I got back a trashed seat base from the guy still half covered in bits of foam and glue residue even underneath which I had repainted.

And it was cracked.

All I can think is that the guy could not do the job, could not admit it, and then trashed the base out of spite. It's summer now, I don't have a seat, I've hours of work ahead of me cleaning and repairing thing, and then more waiting time whilst I get someone else to do it.

Please be warned. Even putting it in writing does not guarantee what you'll get out of this gy.
