Thanks David,

God damn...they is ugly. hahahahaha.....but who cares-they only look funny when you're looking at them.
(Incidentally, which ones are they?)

PS>
Is that a Sargent seat I see? If so how do you find its comfort level? Only ask as mine makes my ass numb in about 40 miles or so.(Could be due to the weight thats pressing down on it?!?!?!)

They're Tucanos - I got mine from Steptoe, but he doesn't do them any more - I think Val H does.

Yep, it's a sergent seat, one of the best mods I've made to the bike (apart from the muffs!). Much, MUCH more comfy than the original seat - horses for courses perhaps?

I've just been over to HG and bought the Oxford muffs, and I'm either doing something terribly wrong, or they just don't fit?
They're the same as the ones in the link below

The light started fading fast just as I started to lose my rag, so I put the mirror back on and repacked the muffs ready for a swift return back to HG.
I have the handgaurds fitted, which I believe are BMW, and I just couldn't get both press-studs fastened. None of the controls were easily accessable, but I imagine by removing the bar ends they might be?

Should I try again and persevere, or should I return them and start thinking about Tucano's? (If so who/where is the best place to buy them from?)

So Val is the man to speak with if the Oxford muffs need changing.

Unfortunately I can't compare the Sargent seat to the original as it was already fitted by the previous owner-guess it must just be that I have an odd shaped ass???

Thanks for the pic-I now no longer feel guilty about not washing my bike :thumb

I have those fitted to my 1200GSA - you have to cut a hole for the mirrors and I have never managed to get both press-studs done up so only use the outer one. The straps will not go around the handlebars and also do up - so I use the cross-bar to attach them to.
i.e. can be made to fit but not a proper fit.
