Decided to change hugger back to standard chain guard and one of nuts seized in, now and guess what The bolt head buggered, so can't remove. Any solutions out there?

Can you get vice grip or other tool onto the protruding tread? On some of those there is a nut on the back if my memory is not playing tricks on me. JJH

No think I might have to drill out and replace with bolt with nut on

Hi.

I had same problem when my powerbronze hugger broke. I left on the hugger bracket on the swinging arm and bought a mudsling from nippy Normans. These bolt to the subframe so you don't need to remove the old hugger bracket. Mud slings are about £90 though!

Forgot to mention, the metal bracket on the powerbronze hugger broke so I just snapped it off and left the swinging arm bit attached.

Seized nut

Finally go it out, WD40 loads of it, then used dremel to make slit, then large flat blade screwdriver and mole grips and brute force.

A useful tip.......... A seized thread can be shocked into moving by spraying it with the pipe freezing aerosols for plumbing.
