Selecting 'You have Mail' notification in Outlook?

Anybody know how I can set the 'you have mail' notification in MS Outlook?
I can't seem to find any option.

not sure what you're after

maybe this will help

1. open Outlook

2. Select 'Tool's then 'options'

3. If not already selected go for 'Preferences' tab, then 'E-mail options'.

4. Select 'Advanced e-mail options'

You should now have a dialogue box open and the second box will allow you to alter the alerts when you get new mail.
