Self catering in the Dolomites - any recommendations?

Hi there,

I'm toying with the idea of a trip to the Dolomites in mid-September - not on the bike.

I'm looking for whatever the Italian equivalent of a Gite is - small (there will only be two of us) self catering accommodation for one week which won't break the bank.

Does anyone have recommendations for anything similar to this please? It'll be the week 14-21 Sep (if it happens )...

Great views, and you get a ring side seat for all the bikes / cars etc coming into Corrina from the West. Short walk into town.

Several of the towns and larger villages close to the ski slopes have apartments they let-out during the summer season, much as they do in the winter.

I looked at booking one for my Olympic Avoidance Tour last year, with ChasMill, wife and son. By the time I had priced it up, it was no better than staying in a B&B hotel and eating out.
