Selling Garmin Quest

Friend of mine died in November last year. I've promised his widow that I'll try to sell his Garmin Quest on her behalf. I've absolutely no idea whether it's a Quest I or Quest II. It was purchased on 19 October 2005 – is that enough to determine which model it is? It’s hardly been used, still in box with all original bits. Any suggestions as to what it might be worth?

If it's a Quest 2 then it literally has 'Quest 2' written on the front of the unit. Another way to check is to use it and if it loses satellite lock at the first sign of a tree or slightly tall building then it's a Quest 2

yea what he said... less if it has the oldest mapping on it

Well there's no sign of it having "Quest II" written all over it, and it seems to hold onto satellites very well, so I'm assuming it's a Quest I, and will see if anyone's prepared to give me £100.
