Bought mine from the USA online and saved a shed load of cash

Hi

Thanks for replies, seen a few USA companies selling them very cheap, but would have to find out about guarantees for uk, would get bit fed up if had to send them back to USA for warranty work if ever they did go wrong.

SENA Bluetooth Warranty & SPORTSRIDER

Hello Everyone,

Firstly, we are sure if you make a search through the various forum threads on this the UKGSER site and others you will get an unbiased overview of our company from those who have already dealt with us.

Secondly, SENA do not offer International warranties, please see the attached link www.senabluetooth.com/support/warranty_replacement_procedure.php

Any items returned are stringently checked for both embedded and marked serial numbers to establish supply authenticity - Believe it or not their are even copies out there!

That said, issues are minimal due to Sena's stringent quality control and we have many customers who have purchased items from the USA and now buy accessories from us having experienced no issues.

We have been advising potential customers regarding SENA's warranty policy since late 2010 and, in an attempt to remedy this situation, have tried to establish a European Service Center with SENA through their European Agent unfortunately so far to no avail.

Please feel free to lobby SENA via email at [email protected] on our behalf if this is something you would like to see, we believe it will future proof your products, maintain their value and strengthen the SENA brand.

Kind Regards

Having just seen this thread I bought from the states and a great piece of kit but it was the earlier model and not up-dateable by plugging in to whatever and with buying from the states no body is interested in helping over here it's the slope shoulders part, so from the kit side excellent until it goes tits up, from then your on your own

If you direct import from the USA you save money but at the risk of not having support of something goes wrong. You pays your money...

Once the Sena has sidetone like my Autocom (promised as a firmware update for ages now) I will take the plunge.

Matt
