I've noticed that on the Sena BT intercoms the instructions usually state that to start an intercom conversation you need to press one of the buttons, then press again to finish the conversation.
A bit of a faff. Can you just press the button then leave it so you could chatter away whenever you see fit?

on the 20s you have to turn on the intercom, which I do at the start of the ride and leave on for the duration.

You can leave them running connected and open instead of pressing each time but it uses more battery.

On the SMH10 the 'button' you need to press is the big jog wheel so easy to hit with the open palm of your hand. You also have the option to set the system to operate by vox if you wish so no need to touch the unit at all...

Depends on which model you have.

On the 20s you can have music playing from the sat nav, and a connection to another user at the same time. When the Sena picks up a voice, it turns down the music. When you both stop talking, the music fades back in.
We just open a connection, and leave it open all the time.

Yes...

I have the SM10HR and once the intercom is up and running it continues without having to press anything - battery lasts for about 9 hours continuous chatting - sat nav automatically interrupts when it feels the need to tell you something.
