Hi everyone,

As anyone used a SENA SMH5 intercom, any veiws on plus points or negatives would be appreciated, clarity? volume? ease of use?

I`m looking for a fairly simple bluetooth system without wires.

Will only be used for rider to pillion.

Any recommendations as to where to buy?

Cheers

Paul.

I have the SMH-10 and it's a good piece of kit, reliable Bluetooth connection, 8 hours use and plenty of volume with earplugs in

I think the version you're on about is virtually the same but with less range so would be fine for rider to pillion

Price wise I'd check eBay shops and just google it as you'll often find an offer on somewhere that wasn't on a week earlier

I would recommend the Sena for the purpose you describe

I also have the sena smh10 fantastic bit of kit, the smh5 is the same except Bluetooth range is less can't conference between four riders only three also the battery life is shorter but would be perfect for what you want. Me and my friends got a deal from two wheel Trekkers check there website.

Will have an SMH 10 for sale soon

Dual pack, used once on a trip to Turkey and back.

Bought an upgrade to the usb firmware upgradeable version.

All I need is 2 booms to sell the units as bought.

Thanks guys, for the feedback.

looks like the SMH5 kit will meet our needs perfectly.

I have one, which I bought from ultimate bike gear. Mike was very helpful.

Make sure you watch the setup video to get the pairing right.
