I'm trying to pair a smh10+bmw nav4+mobile.I paired the nav4 with the mobile but cant pair the nav4 with smh10.Is this the way to do it or what.If you can help me please.

First get the Sena ready for pairing as per manual (press phone button 5 seconds), THEN go to Nav 4 bluetooth screen and enter the settings page for bluetooth, then get the device ready to pair a headset.
Hopefully you were doing it the other way around and this is the answer to your problems?

Thanks barnestom but thats what i keep doing and it just comes up connection failed.Is it just a matter of keep trying and a bit of luck or what.

I've got a zumo 500. I know it's not exactly the same, but it's not too dissimilar.
I did exactly as you did, same order, and mine works fine. Try ringing Sportsrider, I'm sure they will help.

You can try things like doing it the other way around if I recall- set the sena seeking first then the nav 4.
