Sena seem good but which?

Only rider to pillion really atm thinking 10 model not 20.
But there are lots of 10 r 10u smh10 list seems endless

Any help please:confused:

I've used SMH10 for a long time it was good but when it needed replacement I tried the updated 10s - not good at all. The 10s had so many 'teething' problems that my friends and I formed the opinion that SENA has launched it into the market not fully tested. It would fail to connect, switch off for no reason and the sound quality and range was disappointing. We returned them and upgraded to the 20s

The 20s has had several iterations of firmware upgrades and seems to be much more like the finished article. Although more expensive, it offers the great advantage of allowing intercom conversation whilst at the same time listening to satnav directions and/or music. The 10 (lesses?) versions interrupt conversation when satnav announcements are made. You may think this is a small thing but if you bear in mind how much the satnav says whilst in towns for example, or when the speed alerts are activated, then you will realise why we tended to mute the satnav and maintain the intercom.

The 20s offers the best of both worlds plus a range of other features such as a radio and voice control (admittedly not imperative but quite useful)

Thanks sounds good if not more money lol "get what you pay for"
so it works with the nav 5 and android ?

Just moved over to the Senna 20 from Autocom and it is actually quite impressive

If you go down this route i would suggest that you link your android phone ( no probs) to the Nav 5 and then the Nav 5 to the Senna as this stops any confusion over which device gets priority

Thanks i think this is what to buy
I did get very confused as some said it didnt work with nav 5 but think that was early adopters!

Two other tips change the name of your Nav5, the standard name is quite long, simply changed mine to Andy's Nav5, stops Bluetooth getting confused with the long string. Also make sure to kill the Bluetooth connection on your phone for the sena once you have set it up, or you get the headset and Nav5 both trying to connect to your phone.

I forgot that bit !

I found the " jog wheel" on the 20 made it nicer to use than the 10.
Well worth the extra cost (imho). Good luck .

I bought interphone f5mc bloody thing going back one set was mono not stereo lucky almost stuck it in but my wife said it's only working in one ear !!!
Should I just go for the 20s its more money and had lots of features that I won't use

Lot of love for the 20s on here, can only speak on own experience and say so far so good the sene 20s have been great

Sena 20s

Highly recommended, easy to use, phone, Zumo and her behind(as usual) both on the pillion and her bike works great.

Only observation is that my DRY BMW jacket tends to turn the volume down when swiveling my neck!

Idiot proof, I stand as a witness!
