Had a MIVV exhaust on my r1200gsa tc and really liked the quality and fact it was quieter with no loss of power plus lighter than standard .

These are available on E Bay from Italy but I have got in touch with the UK importer for a price, two versions of the same exhaust one is stainless steel and the other is a Titanium GS Edition, one think is for certain they will be a damned sight cheaper than an Akrapovic

Most people prefer it NOT to be quieter though :nenau
 
If it sounds the same as the stock exhaust what's the point ? Are there any performance gains ?
 

Titanium GS looks good and sounds maybe marginally better than the Remus Hexacone, which is my fave above the Akrapovic... be interested to find out the price: the Remus Titanium are £529.95

How much is the Titanium Mivv model ? Akro can be had for £623 now so it would have to be a damn site cheaper
 
Well so far zero reply from BR Special Tuning who supplied my last MIVV exhaust so I've sent off an e mail today to the listed UK importer ..........see if I get a reply from them
 
WTF is it with parts suppliers in this country , that is two separate suppliers for an item who have been contacted regarding prices (that will lead to giving them some business) and they can't be arsed to reply to or even acknowledge E Mails , looks like they will be losing out to an E Bay sale direct from Italy , minor rant over
 
can't speak for the silencer, but i have Mivv headers and no prob's at all. That said, I've seen Mivv pipes with some shockingly bad welding on.



 
Lovely to have a nicer sounding bike but don't go to switzerland with an aftermarket can - my pal just got away with a £450 fine. Also I can't see the point of a light can with massive metal boxes and top box. Or on a bike like this that is heeeeeeeeeavy!!

Reply from the UK Importer moto.gb.com today, the stainless pipe is £305 delivered and the titanium model is £425 delivered
 
Was at Simmi Performance today sorting out an exhaust for the CCM and have arranged to drop off my gsa over the winter so that they can make me one of these and the appropriate link pipe, much cheaper than MIVV or any of the others and very nicely made
