Serious criminal ?

Travelling toward Kirkcaldy was a Reliance prison van escorted by SIX polis cars, front and rear, all with their flashy lights on.
Seeing the vans is quite common, but never with an escort.

Anybody any ideas ?

Spoke to my boss who was working at KSC that day and he's no idea (no change there then) but if you saw the convoy on the A92, they might have been taking someone to the High Court, Dundee from HMP Saughton...
