Servicing in Cairns??

Just moved to Cairns about 3 weeks ago for the foreseeable future and have left my 1150 ADV back in blighty just to see how things went first. Of cause, now I'm thinking why the f**k didn't i bring it with me! so now I'm thinking of getting it here and wondered if there is anywhere that services BMW's around here? I do most myself, it's just things like changing brake fluid (ABS) and balancing the throttle body's.

ps. Only seen one ADV here so far and that was a 1200

your way Fri, run up Bloomfield Track wp, Cooltown and home via tablelands - have wench on the back so will be little steady ride. Cairns has some good spots to ride all year round..

Ah Cairns & the Table lands.

Spent a year in Atherton almost 30 years back.

Spent almost every weekend diving out of Cairns.

Did not have the bike with me though, the road up to Weipa and the further up the cape York peninsula would have been just great.

It's probably tarmac now but way back when it was just dirt and bulldust.

Riding around Cairns

Still dirt up to the Cape, was in Cairns mid yr, around the time of the Australian Ulysses get together in Townsville. Went for a ride up to the Daintree and Cape tribulation, some beautiful country and great riding, enjoy.
