Hi - im thinking of buying one of these. Has anyone got any experience (good or bad) about them. ta muchly. Mikey:)

I'm on my second evoline- this one is a Mark 2 with the shark-tooth cut outs (and I have a sharktooth blue tooth installed.

I really like this helmet as I'm a big fan of open face helmets but there are times when it's raining/cold/on the motorway when having a full face is more comfortable.

Still a compromise - as it weighs more than similar helmets - but I really like it.

Excellant helmet,.The weight does not bother me [except when carrying it!] and I find it very stable,,the advantage of the fully rotating flip front far outweigh any other perceived problems.. Works well with the Sena Bluetooth with the extended mic set-up.

Shark Evoline 2

Thanks for the feedback. Probably going to get one. Did try on the C3 from Schuberth. Very nice indeed - but so was the price  ! Guess you get what you pay for and all that, but lets see how we get on with the Shark. :beerjug:

i bought one, had it a week, wore it once and gave me a terrible headache after an hour. the helmet pressed against my forehead and wa very painful so got rid of it

Bought one about a month ago and just got back after wearing it for a week in Orkney and the north--very pleased with it so far.

Had one for about six months now and still good. Was only flip that would fit. Very easy to use and you can flip it with one hand. Integrated visor. Had similar pressure point on head but lining just snaps in and took a file and sanded pressure points down. Think I paid £265 which in the flip market is pretty good value. Only disappointment was no pin lock but haven't had too many fog problems if you don't put your neck warmer up too high and open vents.

I have had my Evo-2 for six months now. At first I hated it, noisy at all speeds, very heavy etc. After fitting a screen deflector I got over most wind buffeting issues and could ride the bike at 70 mph in open face mode. I needed earplugs at all speeds to keep the wind noise at bay. I grew to like the helmet in open face mode or with the visor down. Its not very good as a full face helmet, and the visor is not good in light drizzle.
I have now stopped using this helmet, after a 10 day touring holiday round Scotland in almost perfect weather I had a very painful neck, I think it was caused by the substantial weight of the flip front up causing my head to tilt back slightly. Im using my Shoe Raid 2 again and the pain is starting to reduce.

Cant comment on that one, but I got a Roof Boxer V8 last summer and still very pleased - comfortable on the move as an open face and as full face - look good too. Not very heavy and I think quite quiet. :thumb2

Shark Evoline 2 ST Sharktooth Bluetooth set

So far so good with the Evoline! Like the option of riding open face - even if dont use it that much. Does feel heavy though, so will see how we get on with a longer journey.
Next question(s) then please, is the Sharktooth kit worth going for, and is it easy to install??? I have the BMW 3 Sat Nav, Blackberry curve phone and IPOD - all of which I am led to beleive will pair with the shark. Anyone got any experience with the product???:comfort

hi, just ordered an evoline2 and toying with the idea of the sharktooth bluetooth. what are the speakers like? bassy, tinny, good sound from music source? i have a very cheap chinese bluetooth and put some bassmonster speakers in and it works well but i like the look of the dedicated kit. any info would be good. also how does it charge up?

I just bought one and am sending it back.

I was really impressed with the overall quality, but the fit wasn't right for me and I found it VERY heavy.

Shame.
