I’ve got 3 . The OXO is fabulous. So good that I might sell my Neotec 3 that I’ve worn twice .I’ve had 2 shark lids. Didn’t live up to the hype. They always seem to get a great review. But don’t live up to it. JJH
I guess colour choice is a personal thing but some of the Nolan’s look gopping to meFollowing @Motocentral ’s advice I got the Nolan N120-1 (identical construction) instead plus better colours AND SBS had a colour I liked at nearly half price. Although I subsequently discovered a Sena cheapo intercom I already had won’t fit (speakers too big) so had order an N-com to fit afterwards and missed on the no vat thing in intercoms.

I’ve adjusted the headlining and done the specs mod to the cheek pad and it’s great. First outing was 2x2hour rides on Wednesday over to Masham to meet JB and Sy and it was as comfy as a comfy thing. Noisy where the sun visir control do-dah is though.

DittoGot a concrete colour OXO earlier this year and it’s my go to lid. Fitted the Sena for Shark intercom too and listened to Radio 2 last night on a wee run up to the North Coast.
The flip feature is super easy to use and I find myself flipping if getting fuel, entering a town, in slow traffic etc.
I find it as comfy as my C5 pro.

Finding the chin strap ? Usually around my chin . Works fine but I must confess to not looking at it under a microscope. My very old Neotec needs replacing. I tried the LS2 version at A&D but it does not fit. I sit betwixt L & XL.
Popped into Demon Tweeks today whilst passing Wrexham. They stock Scorpion but do not have the flip back helmet. I tried on the Oxo and the fit is okay. I like some aspects such as the lining and flip back. The drop down visor mechanism is fiddly and complex. The latch to open the chinbar is also a bit fiddly. I guess you would get used to them.
My main concern with the Oxo is the chin strap ratchet. It is plastic not steel like the Shoei and the latch seems flimsy.
How are owners finding the chinstrap mechanism?

Seriously?
Probably the easiest I’ve ever used . Slide a bar to lower the visor to your desired level . When done with it , press the button next to it and it retracts in an instant .
Can you tie your own shoe laces ?
I’ve uploaded a video to explain this fiddly and complex manoeuvre. Watch it in small segments as it’s very complex
But at least I don’t have the mental capability of a 6 year old . FFSyou really are a supercilious cock of the highest order
OI!It’s ok . It’s required to be a complete knob on here if you are called Richard![]()
