I used a small sheepskin rug on my old 1150GS on the standard seat for a while. Worked a treat :thumb2

Hi,
I ride a GSA with a standard GS seat, I'm 5'9. I tried a sheepskin last year and could see that it would be confortable, but, the skin had the effect of widening and raising the seat to the point where I found that I could not shift my position in the seat and erm, my credentials were a bit squashed!. It wasn't mine, but I suppose a bit of shaping may have helped.
Jim, with a squeeky voice!

What did you do with the soldier you stole the hat from POG? :augie

I used a sheep skin rug bought from Ikea £23.00 You'll easily get two from 1 rug.
If you cut it right you won't have any uncomfortable creases to worry your bits.

Have a look at post number #8 on this thread.

It shows both the 650 and the 1200 with fitted covers. Though i have to say Jill didn't like the look hers so has now fitted a big fluffy white one a bit like POGs bearskin.

PS: the garage has now been cleared :thumb

Andy if your still interested in the sheep seat give me your email tel no, Steggy

I got one from lambland last month and used on a quick 1500 miler around France, it was gleaming.

Get some good velcro though to secure it.:thumb2

Thankfully my arse is hairy enough not to need one of these.

I may treat Mrs Bones now that her bikini line is being tended as thoughts of summer days on the beach come to mind. (not that she has got a hairy arse for the the of the year of course :hide)

As you can see from the avatar, sheepskin style buttocks wouldn't suit her summer outfit
