Sheepskin seats

Went to France last year on the GSA with the wife as pillion / made a kinda seat for her from an old lifejacket that was made from memory foam type of stuff / removed the grab rail then laid the lifejacket over the rear of the original adv seat / covered everything with a lambs skin I bought from Edingburgh woolen mill in Aviemore / never heard a sound from the pillion all the way to Normandy.

Called it the Wifesaver????????????????

they had some nice sheepskins in IKEA a couple of weeks back, £25.

admittedly, it was IKEA in cardiff, might not be available elswhere

also worth considering the less fluffy option which doesn't double in weight in the rain and soak your arse, that you can fold up to nothing and pack in the pannier, that you can put on top of your pannier and use as a camping seat or use as a camping pillow...

I've used gel, sheepskin etc. Airhawk far outperforms anything else. I held off because of the price but spent more experimenting with inferior things. They also have the "bet your ass" promise, but you won't need it.
