SHELL FUELSAVE

Hi, I use shell most times and seem to think this new shellsave it crap...
Used shell for last 14 months and before shell fuel save bike was running ok.
Now i have used Vpower instead and runs a lot smoother and no stalling and misfires.
Maybe they have lowered the quality of standard unleaded.
But £127 per L for Vpower.!
Anyone experianced this.

I'd heard fuel was expensive down south but even so.....

a 1200GS does have anti knock sensors. dunno how bright the ECU is though.

I'm with you there, Stubbs...defo better mileage with the F800

I always use the BP / Shell posh fuel and always get better mpg on the GS. Same with the car when I had a petrol one. Diesel now and I don't bother with the posh stuff as it made no apparent difference economy wise.

I see a difference on my 1200R as well, slightly smoother and another 15 miles to a tank
