Clifton, you have some fantastic roads in WV!! I'll post up my route when I get home!! We have abused a few hundred miles of them. !!

Glad you were able to enjoy some of them. The worst thing about WV roads is many are often in need of repair, especially little roads. Something about this being a poor state with many miles of roads to maintain per capita.
I never thought about it but I should have suggested you ride over to Morgantown, WV to Mountainfest this last weekend. All bikes are welcome, but most are Harley's with maybe 25,000 of them showing up to ride around making noise during the day and partying at night.

The Sportsman... stick to carpet, one pillow the colour of grecian 2000 and lard and enough living things to force me to sleep in my sleeping bag, fully clothed (and still get bitten), while the guy next door was being loved for an hour and sharing the experience aurally through the tissue wall as his rhythm caused the headboard to bang and the legs to squeak (only one of these things may have been his bed).

They were introducing a new themed "fun night" on Thursdays. I left at 4:30 am.

The motel was the Yokum Vacationland at Seneca Rocks...we did not hike up Seneca, but did a few trails on Spruce Knob and Stoney Face mountain in Virginia...

Saw a female black bear with two cubs...bit too close for comfort....
