Now, I know I'll be slated for this, but I'm "almost" convinced it's true, that every time I get on my old 1150 (113500 miles) she seems to run differently. She loves cold damp mornings (understandable with dense air etc) But I can go for a ride, stop for a brew and she seems totally different when I get back on....
On a different note, is it REALLY 105NM to torque up the rear wheel bolts ? I decided today that I'd be good and torque them up correctly, but 105 NM seems a hell of a lot, it almost feels like it's going to strip the threads.... This using a Snap On Torque wrench, so would expect it to be pretty close to right...
How many people ACTUALLY torque their bolts to this setting, or just do them till they feel "right" ?
