Is the shift warning for real? I'm a little surprised with the shift warning flashing a high intensity white light and alternating flashing of the rev scale. I searched this forum and found no mention of it. I have not found a setting to alter it's activation rpm (5k). Is this just something I will have to learn to ignore? Bike is still in break-in

It is set at 5000 until first service done. After that you can set it up to 8000 or turn it off if you don’t want it.

I switch it off. It is very bright and off putting at night.

So I gather the menu item for setting or turning off is added during the service. I have currently not found such a setting .

As has already been said it's in the menus (can't remember where). It's there even before first service & you can set it off or change the rpm it starts at & the frequency ?? (No idea what that means). Just set it to OFF if you don't like it, it is a bit pointless and distracting in my view. Mainly for race track and track days??. It is mentioned in the manual.

It's in the TFT menu - settings- vehicle settings- shift light. Set it to OFF or go into "configuration" on the line below and set the RPM trigger speed etc. etc.
