Having seen a few threads on this before I think there are a few Irish members here interested.... So please put you name below if you are interested in freighting the bike to Malaga / Marbella area. My own plan is to ship an 1150 there and leave it there for future use :Motomartin . If we get enough interest then price can be calculated.

I use a company called Motoadventours to store my bike
in the Malaga / Marbella area, going out to collect and ride
home end May:aidan

Good luck with this there should be interest, southern Spain is a great place
to leave your bike over the winter and get cheap flights to Malaga
for the odd biking weekend.

Ride it down - shooperb run out.

by the way, if you're leaving it in Spain long term, have you thought about MOT, TAX etc.

Is your bike still down there ?

Dont want to ride it down. I do enough biking here to fill my boots. I just want a bike there for spins up to Ronda or down to tarifa :Motomartin .

On the subject of mot and tax well Irish bikes dont need an mot test :pullface so thats never a problem and tax discs do not affect our insurance unlike UK victims. But I would buy a tax disce if it meant less attention from "Traffico". The local police are interested in UK plates more than Irish due to the number of dodgy UK plated vehicles down there.

Yes, but a different one, i took one out 2009, rode it back 2010, then took another one out 2011 and bringing it back next month. Flight booked but not sure yet what route I will use to come home, if time is tight i'll get the ferry.

Errm...but if it's going to be there for more than 6 months don't you have to register it locally?

There is no doubt but that all adventure and freedom has been removed from the English. :friday:friday Yes you are meant to do it, but lots of things do not get done in time :D. And traffico wont see it everyday as it will live in a garage when I'm in Ireland.
