My standard shocks died, well front had no rebound and the rear faded after 30min.

I searched the market for some new ones, mmmh expensive.

It came down to a choice of Ohlins or Fox racing shox.

Went for Fox, the difference is amazing. The rear is height ajustable as well so response has become quicker. Very easy to fit and set took the time to drink a cup of tea.

The uk stockist, racecomponents, service is excellent. The will order from US and they will give you a delivery time; which is exact.

huge grins :D :D :D

joe-he,

am very keen to find out about the FoxRacing shock. I understand that it doesn't come with a remote pre-load adjuster. If that's the case, can you still adjust the pre-load with a c-spanner [do you have the room around the shock to get movement]?

How many miles have you done with it and how does it compare to the Showa OE item [which I find too spongy]?

I have found a company in Wales [mojo.co.uk] who stock Fox Shox and they have been a great help, but am keen to get feedback from you before I decide on my next move.

Look forward to hearing form you.

Tim.
