Shoei Hornet dark/tint visor

I know that the above helmet does not have a dark visor but there is a medium tint one available.

Is this worth having - i.e. does it mark a difference when riding in the summer?

I got the medium tint visor and the darkest pinlock I could get which actually worked out pretty well Sam.
